NEW YEAR’S GREETING
The Hebrew word “shanah”—year—comes from a root that means “change.” Change happens, whether we plan for it not!
In the year to come, may the changes you experience, and those you make, be for the good.
May you meet old friends and make new ones at CJC. May you find it to be a place where you can refresh your spirit. May you devote yourself to its core values, and help it transition to a new life in its anticipated merger into the Dix Hills Jewish Center.
May you find the strength and faith to combat the despair and fear you feel. May you find the humility to wipe away your resentments and hurts.
May you learn to acknowledge the miracles, blessings and holiness that surround you.
May you bring more laughter and love into the world.
L’shanah tovah—a good year, a year of affirmative changes!
