Cantorial Intern
Cantorial Intern Randall Levin hails from Akron, Ohio and attended Beth El Congregation, where he spent more than a decade singing as a soloist in the Beth El Synagogue Choir under the tutelage of Hazzan Stephen Stein and conductor Mark Rosenthal. He received his Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Akron School of Music before completing his graduate studies at the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Randall is also a past Fellowship recipient at the Aspen Music Festival, where he performed a leading role under the baton of the legendary maestro Julius Rudel. As a professional, Randall has appeared as a soloist in opera and concert productions in the United States and Europe, in addition to teaching private voice lessons. He has also been a guest cantor at several synagogues in Northeast Ohio. As a second-year Cantorial Student, he served as the student Cantor for Agudath Israel Etz Ahayem Synagogue in Montgomery, AL. Randall and his wife Emily currently reside in New York City where he will be a third year student at the H. L. Miller Cantorial School at the Jewish Theological Seminary of America.
